What are types of cholesterol ?

Cholesterol is most commonly defined as a chemical compound produced naturally. It is a combination of lipid [fat]and steroid. It is considered as a building block for cell membranes likewise for hormones like estrogen and testosterone. It is regarded as an essential ingredient of the body, commonly measured in milligrams per 100 millimeters of blood;nearly 20-30% comes from the food we eat.80% of the body's cholesterol is produced by the liver, the rest of it comes from the regular intake of our diet. The dietary cholesterol has its source mainly from items like meat, poultry, fish, dairy products etc. It is the job of the liver to regulate cholesterol levels in the human body. Generally, after a meal, the dietary cholesterol is absorbed from the intestine and stored in the liver. Its levels are regulated by the liver in the blood stream which also secretes more if it is needed by the body. But if the level of cholesterol is increased in the body it results into heart attack(In french crise cardiaque).

The commonly identified types of cholesterol are:LDL and HDL.
LDL[low density lipoprotein] cholesterol is commonly identified as the bad one. Elevated levels of LDL cholesterol are associated with an increase in the risk of a coronary heart disease, thereby resulting in the thickening of artery walls and narrowing of arteries.

HDL[high density lipoprotein] considered to be the good one as its particles prevent atherosclerosis by extracting cholesterol from the artery walls and then disposing of them through the liver. There are several methods for increasing the good cholesterol.

Once the problem is identified what remains is the major part of solving it through end number of drugless, natural, home made cures and remedies/therapies. An individual can combat cholesterol (In french le cholestérol) following strictly a low fat diet and adopt a healthy life style by making a routine including exercise on a regular basis, for it is definitely more important to shed those extra kilos and burn calories;keep Antioxidants (In French antioxydants) weight under control, enabling the heart to rejuvenate itself with a proven cholesterol fighting exercise combined with the right menu and a sensibly low fat dietary regime. The need of the hour is aiming to develop more and more therapies, more importantly to alter the good and the bad.

Connection between arteriosclerosis and heart attack

The human body has arteries and the main function of the arteries is to pump blood throughout the body. When the walls of the arteries thicken the arteries begin to degenerate. This is a chronic condition and in medical terms it is known as arteriosclerosis(l’artériosclérose). Hardening of the arteries occurs due to deposits of calcium, fats and cholesterol. This is gradual process and once it become full blown the person suffers from heart attack, stroke etc. These deposits prevent the arteries from pumping blood to essentials organs of the body. Therefore it is important to know about this condition and how you can avoid it.

Usually the artery walls are elastic but when there is excess deposits of fats the walls become hard. Gradually you develop this condition called atherosclerosis. It affects many vital organs like your heart, aorta, blood vessels and brain arteries. When the blood vessels get completely blocked it may result in death. You experience the symptoms like chill or extreme pain when there is partial blockage. Your brain becomes confused and you may Antioxidants (In French antioxydants) also suffer a stroke. This is an emergency situation that requires immediate medical attention.

Nowadays this condition is common but that doesn’t mean that you should overlook the symptoms. Therefore it is important for you to learn about the causes and then proceed for diagnosis and subsequent treatment. Sometimes in the early stage there are no symptoms at all. People have even reported to have noticed no symptoms when actually they were in the advanced stage of this condition.

Medical practitioners cite several factors which may put a person at risk to suffer from this condition. Some of these factors are obesity, age, smoking tobacco, stress, family history and diabetes etc. So if you experience any symptom that is linked to this condition you should be prompt in getting evaluated by your doctor. Sometimes when there are no symptoms at all it is actually a routine check-up that reveals this condition.

Since this condition can lead to a heart attack(crise cardiaque)therefore you should take steps to protect yourself from this condition. There are some simple lifestyle and dietary changes which can lower the risk to a great extent. Cut down drastically on fats in your diet. It is better if you have a low-fat diet. It is actually those saturated fats which do much harm to your arteries. Choose an exercise program which you can do regularly because obesity is one of the factors that leads to this condition. If you smoke then it would be better if you quit this habit for good. Diabetics and people with high blood pressure should learn to control these two conditions.

Ways to prevent Arteriosclerosis

Arteriosclerosis is a disease which refers to the accumulation of excess of bad cholesterol and other debris in the blood stream. Arteries of our body carry blood to many organs of our body. Arteriosclerosis causes the tissues of the arterial walls to thick and hence the blood supply to major organs of the body like the kidney, brain is stopped. This causes heart attacks and strokes, liver and kidney problems. High blood pressure is caused primarily due to the poor blood circulation in a body due to Arteriosclerosis (l’artériosclérose) . Heart can be compared to muscle. Every heart just like every muscle of the body becomes stronger and healthier with exercise. A regular aerobic exercise increases the energy of the heart to pump more of blood with fewer beats .The first symptom of this disease is the pain in the chest area. The legs of the body would feel weak and numb. The kidneys would also cause problems.

Hyper tension is developed when the pressure of the blood is increased. This adds more stress to the heart while it pumps blood. The causes of Hyper tension are Obesity,Stress and age factor. Menopause and other hormonal changes in women like pregnancy also contributes to hyper tension. This can be reduced by regular exercise , intake of healthy diet, and also by quitting smoking and drinking.

The complications and the results of hyper tension are Cardiomegaly[enlarged heart],
heart attacks(crise cardiaque) ,Arteriosclerosis,Kidney failure,Eye damage and brain damage.

Hypertension is the primary reason which damage the arteries' cell causing them to thicken or harden. In this stage when one consumes fatty substances these fats just accumulate in the blood vessels of the body .
Antioxidants (In French
antioxydants)  this blocks the  ability of the heart to pump blood and in turn it causes Chest pain ,Kidney and brain damage.

Due to the high blood pressure blood clots in the brain and the brain cells die due to the lack of proper supply of oxygen. In the Kidneys the blood clots deprives them of the ability to separate toxic waste and hence cause Kidney failure.

The home remedies to lower hypertension are as follows:

Garlic -This is used to reduce blood pressure and cure the hard and thick arteries.
Indian goose berry -The juice of this berry can be taken as an effective remedy every morning. Water melon,Papayas, baked potatoes are proved to effectively reduce hypertension. Grapefruit is known to tone the arteries of the heart. Dark chocolates are also good for heart and blood circulation in the body.

"Every affection of the mind that is attendant with either pain or pleasure, hope or fear, is the cause of an agitation whose influence extends to the heart."
-William Harvey, father of modern heart physiology,

Herbert Benson was able to discover in the early 1970's itself the great effects that yoga has on reducing the stress and its impact on healthy heart.
Hence it is important to do yoga to get rid of stress and fear factors of the mind.

Arteriosclerosis and its Symptoms

There are diseases and disorders prevailing in the market and they are ones which have to stop or rather prevented with our awareness. There is one of the diseases, which is known as Arteriosclerosis (l’artériosclérose) which is a heart disease. Basically what happens in this is that the arteries get thickened and the cholesterol gets deposited on the inner lining of the arteries. So due to this the arteries become inelastic and they also become narrow, ultimately the strain on the heart increases and there are chances of heart attack (crise cardiaque). This is not as simple as it appears to be written here, it is a very chronic condition and is categorized by the formation of cholesterol, fibrin, platelets etc on the arterial walls. So this will slow down the blood circulation or even block the circulation of blood and this can be a very chronic situation indeed. There are many reasons due to which this situation occurs in our arteries, like due to hypertension, diabetes, aging etc and some other conditions too. There are many symptoms of Arteriosclerosis and some of them are listed below:
Some common symptoms are as follows:

* There is a Chest Pain and this happens if the coronary arteries are involved, then the patient may or will have sharp chest pain which is a characteristic of angina pectoris.

* The prevalence of High Blood Pressure and this happens when the arteries leading to the kidneys are involved. If this is the case then patient suffers from high blood pressure plus kidney disorders.

* There can also be a Leg pain when there is an involvement of a leg artery.

* The most chronic symptom is a Brain Hemorrhage and this generally happens when the arteries leading to the brain are involved in the case. Antioxidants (In French antioxydants) what really happens that the vessel may burst hence causing hemorrhage in the tissues of the Brain.

So life is very short and you never know what you actually are suffering from. So that is the reason why the doctors recommend a very healthy diet plan and a very healthy lifestyle with regular exercises and activities which keep you healthy and charged up. They don’t say that you should perfectly avoid all the foods which have fats contents but they say you should consume them in proper quantities and not excessive quantities. Hence after all we decide how we want to live.

Care for Your Heart

If you have a heart (which is quite a silly statement in itself!) then it is probable that you will suffer from a heart related disorder. Sadly, most people are not aware of the great variety of heart related disorders there are.
CHF, or Congestive Heart Failure, is one of the most dangerous kinds of cardiovascular disease. CHF happens when there is insufficient supply
Antioxidants (In French antioxydants) of blood to the different body parts, irrespective whether the body pumps slower or faster. It has been after extensive research that out of the many causes of CHF, myocarditis, is the most occurring and infectious type. It has various symptoms—elevated blood pressure, cardio vascular problems etc.

CHD, or Coronary Heart Disease, is another type of commonly occurring cardiovascular disease. The cause of this disorder is mainly attributed to the deposition of plaque or waste in the blood vessels. The arteries and veins get fully or substantially blocked by the buildup of plaque or waste which are generally calcium, cholesterol(le cholestérol), fat or an excessive amount of dead cells.

In fact, a survey and extensive research have proven that CHD is the main and primary cause of 60% of all deaths caused due to a cardiovascular disease(maladies cardiovasculaires). This is an alarming percentage and even more so because CHD has no preliminary symptoms and CHD is mostly caused by high cholesterol.

Myocardial infarctions and strokes occur as a subsequent cause due to the blockage of arteries and formation of blood clots. Here we come to another cardiovascular disease called Atherosclerosis. In this disease, the arteries harden up due to the deposition of high amounts of cholesterol in the arterial walls. Intake of fatty and oily food substances result in a buildup of cholesterol deposits and the deposits gradually increase in size to a point where they choke the arteries and disrupt blood flow. This is especially fatal. The arteries carry oxygenated blood to the different parts of the body. If you are lucky enough to survive a heart attack, your body will suffer from oxygen deprivation as oxygenated blood cannot circulate normally through the body and thus asphyxiation occurs in different parts like the brain, kidneys, liver, eyes etc.
I think now you have gotten a bit wiser about the different types of cardiovascular diseases there are. Knowing is reducing half the risk. When you know the diseases and their causes you will also learn to develop and exercise ways so as to avoid their advent and prevent yourself from falling prey to them.

Caring soul of the heart

Arteries are the most important veins in our body. They work as a pipe line to transport blood from the heart and towards different body parts. With every pumping action of heart the blood flow is passed into the artery from there it is taken to various body parts. These veins have a very thin wall made of muscles and tissues. Our diet has many unwanted particles such as fat, some poisonous elements through smoking etc. which lead to accumulation Antioxidants (In French antioxydants) of cholesterol and other harmful components inside the walls of arteries causing a blockage in the blood flow.

This is not a sudden process; it is a accumulative process and is very slow. Most of the times it goes unnoticed for many years and once the level of accumulation is beyond the permissive level, then it causes various problems to our body such as high blood pressure due to weakened blood supply, where the heart needs to pump harder to push the blood to designated places. This cause also leads to various other complications such as burning sensation in heart, stomach, higher fatigue and so on. This whole scenario leads to a very much painful phenomenon due to less blood supply. Sometimes the blockage gets broken into pieces which completely blocks the artery and leads to massive heart attack(crise cardiaque). There are various factors which lead to this case, they include heredity, when someone from immediate family has had suffered from this ailment, smoking, in- take of high cholesterol diet, higher blood pressure due to stress, growing age etc. This whole scenario is called arteriosclerosis(l’artériosclérose).

The treatments for this ailment is not so complicated which may include blasting the cholesterol particles away from the artery or undergo an open heart surgery. Depending on the percentage of blockage the doctors determine the course of action and treatment. Drugs and diets are administered after the immediate action taken. These actions and drugs are also accompanies with regular exercise and balanced food. A combination of these factors leads to keep heart healthy and fit. Arteries are the soul of heart and a proper care should be taken for preventing any damage to heart and in turn to our body. Controlling the intake of high cholesterol diet should be avoided as much as possible. Stress is another factor which imbalances our body cycle. We should refrain from toiling our brain and body by taking excessive stress.

Ways to increase concentration

Concentration is the capability of a person to think the way he/she intends to. This phenomenon takes place for sometime and after that it may happen that your mind gets distracted and getting off track due to which the person may even suffer from many disease .Due to lack of concentration some people undergo depression which may also affect their eating habits,as a result person gets into heavy eating or poor eating habits. Heavy eating can increase cholesterol (le cholestérol) level in the body due to which the person may suffer with a heart attack (crise cardiaque). If a person need to concentrate then he/she must be able to control the mind and help it from getting diverted to things which are of lesser importance. To attain 100% concentration in the first go is not possible for that one needs skill practice and its a time consuming process. Our efficiency to concentrate depends upon certain important things like commitment to our work we need to complete, zest in completing it sooner, also depend on the atmosphere in which we are and, our state of mind, etc. There is something called the concentration span within which it’s believed that the fulfilled work can be completed. This span can end up to an hour or even hours together or else it may also happen to simply cease in few minutes.

It varies from one person to another person as to how much can he/she grasp in that particular concentration period of hers/his! It happens that a personal may face concentration problem due to distraction in other events or may be congenital. Through regular courses Antioxidants (In French antioxydants) and other memory improving and concentration sharpening games one can improve concentration. By playing game like chess, which requires a high amount of dedication and focus can help an individual to increase concentration. Many students face the problem of concentration during learning because for them it is the most boring thing, when asked to do. Thus learning should be done by the student when his/her concentration is at peak and they are confident that their work can be completed or else if the concentration is not proper they will be disinterested in doing what they want to do.

Spices, citrus foods, beverages like coffee and chocolate, mouth fresheners like mints etc if you are suffering from heartburn. You can also suffer from heartburn if you are overweight. Due heartburn a person may suffer through cardiovascular disease (maladies cardiovasculaires).

There are many remedies available which help to cure heartburn. For example natural, home made, homeopathic or the most common through modern drugs and medicines.  Antioxidants (In French antioxydants) nowadays the information is easily available on net, the remedies can also be easily searched for, if such an important need arises. But at the end its necessary that one should follow doctor's instructed path.

To conclude the above article its obvious to say that health is wealth. One must always give first priority to ones health in his/her daily routine no matter how much busy the person is. This will definitely make your day awesome and will keep you happy throughout the day.

Steps that can improve concentration

Concentrating, without getting disturbed is one of the important thing for any person on the earth. This is one of the difficult thing to do yet easy to achieve. There are people who can concentrate on their work or can pay attention without getting disturbed even when they are surrounded by crowd in train and antonyms are who can’t concentrate even if they are alone in an island or sitting in a room. This differs from person to person! The reason behind it is what’s going in your mind other than what you are doing, including irrelevant thoughts, insignificant sounds, unrelated stimuli etc. Concentrating is the most wonderfull tool our brain has, whose strength is not know by many of the people. When the level of concentration is more, the work is done more easily and fast without that small ‘disturbance’ devil coming in your mind. A visual activity like videos, movies, puppet shows, magic shows, with active on front displays proves to put out lesser effort to concentrate. One the other hand things in which we are not interested, not enthusiastic for us, where there’s physical unrest, irritability, or even sadness around, then it probes ourselves to get distracted and allowing that devil to act upon our bad concentratie (concentration).

Concentration can be seen more in children, but that does not means that it’s absent in adults. Small children have stronger minds than the adults and can grasp things more in that age than an adult can. Thus playing games like chess helps a lot to focus on studies. concentratie problemen (concentration problem) in adults can be solved usually by doing Yoga exercises and other fitness activities. Many youngsters are nowadays are facing this problem of non-concentration. Lack of concentration can results into depression because the level of understanding a situation and dealing with them in generally very low in them. For solving theseAntioxidants (In French antioxydants) problem many NGOs have taken initiatives which provide help to improve the concentration in teenagers and adults. There are many ways to improve concentration viz. get intere in the work prevailing (if not then do not continue doing it, as it can be done corrigibly only if one has that interest in mind), prepare a scheduled what to-do in the day, try to avoid things like fights and crying by hearing music or dancing (just what everyone will never dislike). These are some tips that can prove to help to concentrate, other than which there are tonics and medications also available for improvising it.
